Is this course only about hair loss?

This course is about Menopausal hair changes, the science behind it all, and how to help your clients. We'll cover many hair symptoms throughout the stages of menopause.

We also look at the emotional side, confidence changes in your clients and things like why your client might feel unlike herself in your chair.
This course helps you understand the whole picture, not just the symptoms.
Do I need any menopause or medical knowledge before taking the course?
Not at all.
This course is designed specifically for hairdressers - not doctors, not trichologists, not menopause specialists. It will not give you a medical qualification.

Everything is explained in clear, salon-friendly language, with practical examples you can use immediately. It has been made with creatives in mind aswell.
You’ll learn what’s relevant to you as a hair professional, without being overwhelmed by medical jargon or feeling out of your depth.
Will this teach me how to diagnose menopause or hair loss?
No and we’re very clear about that.
Hairdressers do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions - this course reinforces those professional boundaries.

This course will help you to understand why your long-standing clients' hair is changing. It will also help you with new clients when they come to you in menopause.
As menopause wasn’t and still isn't part of most hairdressing education, this course can be a very important tool to help us with our clients.

Is the course online, and do you offer in-salon training?
Yes, the course is fully online and self-paced.
This means you can complete it in your own time, around clients, family, and real life. There are no live online lessons you have to attend, meaning no pressure to show up at a set time and no fear of falling behind or uncomfortable zoom sessions.

At the moment, I don’t offer in-salon visits or in-person training.
This course has been designed to give you practical, salon-ready knowledge you can apply immediately without needing me physically in your space. Hopefully in the near future I will be offering in-salon training & workshops.
What is the structure & content of the course?
The course has 6 modules with 5-7 sections in each. You'll have 12 months from the date of purchase to complete the course.
Each Module thoroughly covers a range of areas to support your understanding of Menopausal clients. They are:
1. Understanding Menopausal Hair
2. Scalp and Hair Health
3. Adapting Styling & Cutting
4. Product Knowledge and Homecare
5. The Perfect Consultation
6. Business Growth and Marketing
Each Module ends with a short quiz, to ensure you have understood the content of each module. The course contains written information, visual summaries & videos of varying lengths, supporting different types of learners.
Do you offer a payment plan?
At the moment, no; payment plans aren’t available.
The course is currently offered as a one-off payment, giving you full access to all content straight away.
That said, please reach out if you would be interested in a payment plan and I can always introduce one if the call is enough.
